during the Covid-19 pandemic for new and valued clients

During these times of uncertainty and change, I am humbled to remain open at Magnolia Massage & Wellness. I will continue to operate based on the reopening guidelines established by CDC for health care and service providers. My schedule is open week nights and Sunday afternoons. Online scheduling remains available.

My top priority has always been to bring an unparalleled safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to my clients, and my resolve is stronger now than ever before. I have been hard at work to raise the bar of hygiene and sanitation, as well as considering every step of treatment processes to ensure I meet your needs in a focused and safe manner that is in accordance with government guidelines plus a little extra.​

Here are some tangible ways we have ramped up our efforts to guarantee client and employee safety:

 

Services

  • You will be welcomed upon arrival and may be given a touchless temperature check.

  • Please come into the office wearing a mask. We ask that you keep your mask on during the entire massage session.

  • A True-HEPA air filter CADR rated for 360 sq. ft will filter the air of the treatment room 5x per one hour.

  • Please bring your own bottled water from home.

  • New client intake, updated policy, procedure and liability forms are available to upload and complete prior to arrival of first session. 

  • Opportunity to pay for your treatment and gratuity in advance to allow for a touchless payment transaction.

  •  All payments will be collected via credit, debit or gift cards.

 

To keep our clients and staff safe, we will ask all clients to:

  • Complete a short wellness questionnaire specific to symptoms relating to Covid-19 prior to each visit.

  • Refrain from visiting the office if you or a household member have a fever, Covid-19 symptoms or a communicable illness.

  • Refrain from visiting the office if you or any member of your household are under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.

  • Respect the sanitation and hygiene standards and processes posted within the office and shared by employees.

  • Please use restroom to wash hands for 60 seconds prior to beginning each treatment/service.

  • Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the office.

*Please note: 

  • If you have recently received the mRNA vaccine for Covid-19, it is advised to wait at least 2 days after injection to receive massage therapy. If you are experiencing any other maladaptive side-affects, please inform your health care provider and wait to schedule massage therapy appointments until your are well.

  • Additionally, it is advised to contact your general health practitioner for release to receive massage therapy in general, especially if you have experienced a positive case as secondary health concerns have been shown to arise such as blood clotting disorders. Ask me about the Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy service to support immunity. Please know that your health, comfort and safety is our top priority.
